When you reach the add/drop date of your last semester, it's time to file for graduation with your academic advisor. They'll guide you through the process and let you know if there are any outstanding requirements you need to wrap up before the semester ends.

Priority Deadline

The deadline to file ensures that your name will be included in the commencement program.

• Fall — last Friday in October
• Spring — last Friday in March
• Summer — second Friday in July (if you plan to graduate in the Summer you may file for graduation by the Spring deadline and then participate in TCC's commencement ceremony in May.)

At Commencement, TCC recognizes scholastic achievement for students achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of their last completed term.

• With Distinction: Graduating with a 3.5 - 3.99 cumulative GPA.
• With Highest Distinction: Graduating with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Students who successfully complete the Honors Scholar program will proudly wear pewter medallions during the commencement ceremony.

Graduation regalia (cap and gown) is available for purchase at any Campus Store location for $25.

At Commencement, professional photographers will be taking photos of all graduates.

Check your TCC email for a message from Candid Color Photography to upload a selfie for facial recognition identification at Commencement.

TCC is partnering with Parchment Inc. to provide graduates with digital and printed diplomas. Digital diplomas will be available to students approximately four weeks after Commencement, with printed diplomas being mailed approximately six weeks after this date.
