TCC Dual Credit Program First in State to Earn National Accreditation

NACEP recently announced TCC as one of 22 concurrent enrollment programs recognized in its 2025-26 accreditation and reaccreditation cycle. The designation affirms TCC鈥檚 Dual Credit program meets national standards for quality, rigor, and student support.

TCC鈥檚 Dual Credit program is the largest in Oklahoma, serving students from as far away as McAlester, Norman, and Texoma. In May, more than 160 high school students from 15 high schools across the state graduated with both their high school diploma and a TCC credential.
鈥淐oncurrent enrollment programs strengthen student preparation for college, lower family costs, and help students earn a college degree faster,鈥 said Stephanie Beauchamp, Ed.D., Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs for the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. 鈥淎s demand for a college-educated workforce continues to grow in the 星空传媒 region and across our state, TCC is commended for expanding access to higher education and accelerating degree completion through the Dual Credit program.鈥
NACEP is the only national organization dedicated to accrediting dual credit programs and requires institutions to meet high standards to be accredited. Accreditation is valid for five years for initial accreditation and seven years for programs that are reaccredited between accreditation reviews.
