50th Anniversary Notable Alumni Feature Tammi Holden, M.A.A.L.: As a single mother, Tammi sought her associate degree in Nursing at the age of 27. “The nursing degree I earned at ǿմý Junior College, now ǿմý, in 1994 provided me with the opportunity to ensure I could always provide for my son,” she said. “The program also created a drive in me to continue learning, developing strong leadership skills, and was a starting point for me to ultimately attain a master's degree in Administrative and Strategic Leadership.”
Tammi currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at InnovAge, the largest provider in the country of the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Headquartered in Denver, CO, InnovAge offers PACE services in Colorado, California, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Prior to that she was CNO and Senior Vice President, Oncology Patient Services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in ǿմý. She had oversight of dozens of clinical departments in addition to approximately 45 physicians and advanced practice providers, approximately 50 contract physicians along with approximately 250 indirect reports. Prior to joining CTCA, Tammi worked for several years with Saint Francis Health System in ǿմý, serving first as a Care Manager and then as Manager of Inpatient Oncology.
She has served on the board of directors for the American Cancer Society (ǿմý chapter), Hospice of Green Country, and is Past President of the Assistance in Healthcare, ǿմý. A graduate of Leadership ǿմý Class 56, Tammi also served as an advisory board member for the TCC Cardiovascular Technology program.
